Determine, remove, treat, reassemble.
The first step in mold remediation is to determine the level and area of mold contamination. Once this has been determined, the contaminated areas are removed completely. Carpet and flooring may need to be removed throughout. For wood walls, only the contaminated areas need to be removed.
The areas are treated at least 3 times until the interior wall is mold-free. Once this is complete, we reassemble all areas. Call Nichol's Carpet Cleaning in Mexia if you think you might have a mold problem. Let us help you.
Our mold remediation process
Determine level & area of contamination
The first step is figuring out how much mold there is and where it has spread. That tells us what needs to come out.
Remove the contaminated material
Carpet and flooring may need to be removed throughout the affected area. For wood walls, only the contaminated sections come out โ we don't tear out more than necessary.
Treat the interior at least three times
The exposed areas are treated at least three times until the interior wall is mold-free. Treatment continues until it's actually clean โ not until we've checked a box.
Reassemble all areas
Once the interior is mold-free, we reassemble everything that was removed. The job ends with the space put back together, not with an open wall.
